AC Cobra DAX Replica

This stunning DAX Cobra finished in the original Cobra blue with the iconic white racing stripes down the centre, really makes this car stand out. The body is in very good condition with only a few minor blemishes and marks. The car was painted back in 2009 but has been garaged kept so it has fared very well.
Built using mainly Jaguar XJ6 parts like most DAX Cobra’s. The brakes are from a Jaguar XJ6 as is the rear axel and various other parts which are all listed in a vehicle diary for ease of finding replacement parts.
It is fitted with a 350 Chevy V8, 5.7 litres of pure American muscle! which sounds absolutely amazing through the new side exhaust pipes! Custom made by DAX (Newly fitted last year)
The 350 motor is mated to a Holley 4 Barrel 1850 carb and a 5001 Edlerbrook inlet manifold.
The Speedo is showing only 13,466 miles which we believe to be correct. The car has covered under 700 miles in the last 10 years and 300 of those were in the last year!
It has always been garaged its entire life and very well maintained. Receipt bill last year at Beaulieu road garage for just over £6,000 was spent on the braking system, new bushings, new full manifold to back box stainless steel exhaust system and comprehensive full Service amongst other things.
Only 3 owners from new. The first keeper had the car for 2 years and the 2nd keeper owned the car for just under 30 years!! The 3rd owner has had it just over a year and is now looking to sell the vehicle because he has his eye on something else.
