This is the last of the phase 1 Renault 5 GT Turbos (1985-87). The car is extremely original with no modifications over the years except for a recent engine swap for a reconditioned unit and having been resprayed in the original colour. It also enjoys new adjustable suspension and a straight-through exhaust system.
Presently the car is wearing Braid alloy wheels but the originals are also available with the car, as is the original exhaust system. The interior is complete, clean and original with new phase 1 seat fabrics and restored foam base.
The bodywork is straight throughout with no rust or dents and everything works as it should. The car has had a full service recently and passed the Spanish ITV (equivalent MOT) with no issues whatsoever.
The car has had three previous owners, the 2nd being a mechanic who stored the car on his business premises for some ten years before replacing the engine and bringing the car right up to specifications and date. The third owner merely held the car as a collector piece for a short period. There is service history dating back to 2004 in an official Renault dealership and ITV and KM certification from its registration date.
