Karmann Ghia Convertible – Manual
Fully restored – Right hand Drive – import from America
This Karmann Ghia was bought as a present for the previous owners wife in 1984, From then the car was completely restored from the ground upwards by her husband and a close friend who was a Nascar mechanic (a high standard restoration)
The Chassis and underneath of the car are like brand new, no rust whatsoever!! It has been customised with Suicide doors and blanked windows.
It has also has a full engine rebuild which has only covered 3,000 miles since it was restored. It runs really well and is surprisingly quick ! easily cruising at over 70 mph!!
It has had a new (Hot Rod) wiring loom which is a modern style set up with new type fuses etc. It has had a Porsche front headlight conversion.
Full Custom interior with what we believe are Porsche sports seats, custom dash and door cards. It has adjustable suspension and alloy wheels.
It has just had a new mohair roof fitted (the best fabric available) It has been dynomatted and fitted with additional sound proofing underneath the new carpet
The car has never been washed since its has been painted (kept under cover and dusted down after every use)
It doesn’t know what a wet road looks like!
The car has the 4 speed manual Gearbox
